Staff Bio

After taking A levels in Law, Philosophy, and Sociology I really wanted to get into finance, and I’ve been here for just over two years. Qualifications are really important to me and I passed my CF1 exam recently and will be sitting my CF6 soon with a vision of becoming a qualified Mortgage Advisor.

Whilst I’m looking to focus solely on mortgages in the short term, like the rest of the team here at IronMarket, I’m looking to expand my experiences and knowledge. I work closely with our clients with regards to processing and analysing information, but it’s a great company for developing staff and so I feel that I have several career options available to me here.

What I love about my job

I love the whole process of client interaction, especially reinforcing how our services benefit them. We're a very creative financial company – it’s an ideas company, one that's about the team turning our collective vision into reality.

What’s great about IronMarket?

Everyone has their own individual strengths and knowledge, but we pull it all together quite seamlessly as a team. The staff are really helpful here and when I joined I instantly saw that they are really open to giving staff opportunities.

It’s not all work, work, work

I’m a really social person who has a great group of friends, so I love regularly spending time with them. I have an eclectic music taste, and I also have a big interest in interior design, too.

Who would you have round your table for dinner?

I did say I had a wide taste in music, and so my choice of dinner guests would be quite different, too. I’d go for Phillip Schofield, 50 Cent, Alan Sugar, Piers Morgan, and Holly Willoughby.

I dream of one day…

Visiting China for a number of weeks. It’s a country that has always fascinated me – especially after hearing my teammate Alan talk about working abroad.
